Tahari Recipe by Cooking Recipes





·         Take Oil ½ cup.
·         Take Onion sliced 2 medium.
·         Take Bay leaf 1.
·         Take Cinnamon sticks 2.
·         Take Black pepper corn 7-8.
·         Take Cumin seeds 1tsp.
·         Take Cloves 5-6.
·         Take Black cardamom 2.
·         Take Ginger garlic paste 2tbs.
·         Take Tomato chopped 3-4 medium.
·         Take Salt 3tsp or to taste.
·         Take Red chili powder 2-3tsp or to taste.
·         Take Turmeric powder 1/2tsp.
·         Take Yogurt 1/2cup whisked.
·         Take Potatoes 2-3 large (half boiled).
·         Take Green peas 1cup (half boiled).
·         Take Water 2&1/2 cup or as needed.
·         Take Rice 500gms (soaked for 35-45 mins).
·         Take Green chilies 3-4 or as per taste.
·         Take Fresh coriander 1/4cup.
·         Take Whole spice powder 1tsp.
·         Take Nutmeg & mace powder 1/2tsp.

Direction of Tahari recipe:

·         Firstly In pot, add oil and onion,saute.
·         Then add bay leaf, cinnamom stick, black pepper corns, cumin, cloves and black cardamom, saute and mix them well.
·         After that add ginger garlic paste and saute well.
·         Add the  tomatoes and give it a good mix.
·         Then add salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder in it and mix them.
·         Now add yogurt.
·         After it add potatoes (half boiled) and green peas (half boiled) and add water, bring it to the boil.
·         Then add rice (soaked for 35-45 mins),mix it well and cook on high flame until water dries up well.
·         Finally add green chilies, fresh coriander, whole spice powder, nutmeg & mace powder, cover and simmer it for 15minutes.
·         Now Serve.

·         Take Laung 5-6.
·         Take Badi elaichi 2.
·         Take Adrak lehsan paste 2tbs.
·         Take Tamatar chopped 3-4 medium.
·         Take Namak 3tsp or to taste.
·         Take Lal mirch powder 2-3tsp or to taste.
·         Take Haldee powder 1/2tsp.
·         Take Dahi 1/2cup whisked.
·         Take Alaoo 2-3 large (half boiled).
·         Take Matar 1cup (half boiled).
·         Take Pani 2&1/2 cup or as needed.
·         Take Chawal 500gms (soaked for 35-45 mins).
·         Take Hari mirch 3-4 or as per taste.
·         Take Hara dhania 1/4cup.
·         Take Garam masala powder 1tsp.
·         Take Jaifil javitri powder 1/2tsp.

Directions:

·         Pehly Pot mein oil aur pyaz dal ker halka sa saute ker lein usy.
·         Phr Tez paat,daar chini,kali mirch,zeera,laung aur badi elaichi dal ker mix ker lein achi trha.
·         Adrak lehsan paste dal ker saute karein achi trha.
·         Or phr Tamatar shamil karein aur ache tarhan mix ker lein.
·         Baad main Namak,lal mirch powder aur haldee dal ker mix karein.
·         Or Ab dahi shamil karein aur ache tarhan mix ker lein.
·         Aaloo (half boiled) aur phr  matar (half boiled) dal dein aur pani shamil ker k ubal anay tak paka lein usy.
·          Ab is mein chawal (soaked for 35-45 mins) dal ker mix kren esy  aur tez ancch per pani sukh janay tak pakaen.

·         Ab akhir main Hari mirchein,hara dhania,garam masala powder,jaifil javitri powder dal ker,dhak k 15 minutes k liya dum per rakh dein usy.
