Halwa & Puri Recipe (Sooji ka Halwa & Puri) by Cooking Recipes

Halwa and puri or Suji ka halwa and puri is one of the best traditional breakfast recipe.The traditional way of of preparing the halwa and puri with this easy and delicious recipe.Halwa and puri recipe in english and urdu available at cooking Recipes Channel.
I am always ready to eat halwa and puri because It's one of my favourite recipe to cook and to eat.




1)      Take Desi ghee ½ cups (solid form).
2)      Take Choti elaichi (green cardamom) 3-4.
3)      Take Sooji (semolina) ¾ cups.
4)      Take Cheeni (sugar) 1 & ¼ cup.
5)      Take Pani (water) 3 cups.
6)      Take Food color (Zarda ka rang) ½ tsp or as per requirement.
7)      Take Kewra essence ½ tsp.
8)      Take Dry fruits as per requirement (for garnishing).

Ø  Firstly heated the ghee and add green cardamom in it and then sauté for a minute.
Ø  Now semolina added in it roast on medium low flame until its color change and also it’s fragrant.
Ø  Now add sugar in it and give it a well mix.
Ø  Add water in it and food color also, mixes it well, cover and cook on medium low flame for 3-4 minutes.
Ø  Now add kewra essence and mixes properly. Cover and simmer for 1-2 minute.
Ø  For making more delicious garnish with dry fruits.
Ø  Finally your Sooji ka halwa is ready.

Ø  Sab sy pehly Karhai mein ghee garam karein aur hari elaichi dal ker ek minutes kliya saute ker lein esy.
Ø  Phr es main Suji shamil karein aur halki darmiyani ancch per khushboo anay aur rang tabdeel hunay tak esko ko achi trha bhoon lein.
Ø  Ab es main Cheeni dal ker ache tarha Bilkul achi trha mix ker lein.
Ø  Ab es main Pani aur food color dal ker ache tarha mix ker en or phr esko dhak ker halki ancch per paka lein 3-4 minutes kliya.
Ø  Ab es main Kewra essence shamil ker kren or phr esy achi trha mix kren.
Ø  Ab es ko achi trha Dhak kr 1-2 minute kliya dum per rakh dein.
Ø  Es ko mzeed delicious bnany k liye esy Dry fruits sa garnish karein.
Ø  Finally apka ab Sooji ka halwa tayyar hai.



1)      Take Maida (flour) 2 cups.
2)      Take Namak (salt) ½ tsp.
3)      Take Pani (water) warm as per requirement.
4)      Take Oil for frying.

Ø  First of all take a bowl and add flour and salt in it and mix it properly.
Ø  Now add warm water (as per requirement) and mix it well and knead well until all the ingredients are combined.
Ø  Now make a soft dough, punch and knead it again and then Grease the dough with oil properly.
Ø  Now Cover it and set aside for 15-20 minutes.
Ø  Now Grease your hands with oil and divide dough into small balls and then leave these balls for 15 minutes.
Ø  After that again grease your hands and flattened small balls into round shape properly with the help of your hands.
Ø  Finally deep fry on a medium low flame until everything is done.
Ø  Now your Poori is ready.

Ø  Sab sy pehly aik Bowl lyn or phr es bowl mein maida aur namak dal ker mix ker lein.
Ø  Ab Neem garam pani shamil karein es main or phr mix ker k ache tarhan maida ko ghond lein.
Ø  Ab es sy Naram dough tayyyar ker lein or phr oil sa grease ker lein.
Ø  Ab es ko achi trha Dhak ker 15-20 minutes kliya rakh dein.
Ø  Ab ap apny Haathon ko grease karein aur dough k chotay balls bana lein aur 15 minutes kliya chor dein esy.
Ø  Ab ap Dubara haathon ko grease karein aur small balls ko haathon ki madad round shape mein pheela lein achi trha or phr halki darmiyani ancch per deep fry ker lein.

Ø  Ab apki mzeedar Poori tayyar hai.
